Prices and availability

Subject to any prior bookings, The Old Shippon is available for up to two people for weekend and mid-week breaks (minimum two nights) and for full weeks (maximum two weeks). Days of the week are flexible (subject to a minimum 24 hour cleaning period to ensure adherence to Airbnb cleaning protocols) but are typically as follows:

Weekends – from 4pm Friday to 11am Monday

Mid-week – from 4pm Monday/Tuesday to 11am Thursday/Friday, for 3 or 4 nights

Weeks – from 4pm Friday/Saturday to 11am the following Friday/Saturday 

Booking

Reservations can be made in one of two ways:

• Through Airbnb (www.airbnb.co.uk); or

• Directly with the owners, by email or telephone, subject to receipt of a Reservation Deposit, with the balance payable four weeks before arrival date (late bookings require advance payment in full). A Breakages & Housekeeping Deposit of £100 is also payable, at the same time as the balance payment. This will be returned at the end of your stay, provided the cottage is left in good condition. To check availability or send us a booking request online, click here. 

Prices

With the exception of Easter, Christmas and New Year, the cottage has a flat rate for 2020 of £90 per night, plus a £35 fee per booking, to cover servicing, sundries and deep-cleaning (COVID-19) Airbnb-standard protocols. Gas heating, hot water and electricity are all included at no extra charge. A supply of heat logs for the log burner is provided, with more available to purchase if needed. Some basic provisions are also available,  for purchase on an 'honesty box' basis.

Sorry, no pets. The cottage is also non-smoking.
